The EH&R Nutrition Internship and Mentorship Program is used as an opportunity for nutrition students and practitioner trainees in bachelor, masters, or doctorate programs or those who are training for specific nutrition credentials or other needs for advanced medical nutrition therapy training in the functional nutrition/medicine approach to gain mentorship and training hours. 
 
If you use this program for the CNS Supervised Practice Experience (CNS SPE), it is conducted by a CNS Supervisor of the Board of Certified Nutrition Specialists (BCNS) for 3 months with a practitioner or student aiming to acheive the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential.  This program allows for mentorship and supervision for hours in each the required categories (A, B, and C) for direct and indirect practice experience in personalized and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) care.   All activities may be used as preparation for the CNS examination.   The CNS student or practitioner can work at whatever pace that is needed to gain required hours and will be mentored through meetings, oversight on cases, activities, and projects to build confidence and self discipline towards the overall goals of the CNS SPE experience.
